What is Summit Awakening?

Summit Awakening is a Catholic retreat held twice per year (early summer and late fall) that creates an opportunity in which students can become more fully awakened to the ever-present love of God. While this is a Catholic retreat, all faiths are welcome!

Summit Awakening encourages self-reflection and meaningful connections by allowing students to step-out of their normal routines for a weekend of prayer. During the retreat, there are talks given by students, opportunities to pray, reflect and share with small groups, and lots of fun to be had! The Sacraments will be offered so prepare yourself for an immersive weekend into your faith life!

This student-led retreat challenges students to embrace an enhanced commitment to love, integrity, faith, and most importantly the Eucharist. Invite your friends and be prepared to make new ones too!

Beyond this, it is impossible to describe Summit Awakening to you other than it must be experienced!!! The retreat exceeds expectations and often has been a turning point in many people’s lives. We encourage all young adults aged 18-25 to attend this faith transforming experience!

*Retreatant registration is capped at 60 individuals and will be determined on a first come first serve basis. If you are not selected for this retreat you will be put you on a waitlist and will be notified if a spot opens up. If you are not selected for SA8 we encourage you to register for a future retreat!
